The IKO card becomes virtual!
Until April 2019, at the end of each course provided by an IKO centre, the IKO Member Card was issued. This card, in addition to containing the insurance, certified the skill level and improvements, from the basic level up to independent level 3 .
Thanks to this card, recognized in all centers around the world, you could rent equipment and the schools or instructor were aware of your level of competence.
Today everything has changed and the Card becomes virtual, vCard!
Well aware that technology advances and must be exploited to make people's lives easier, IKO has introduced a virtual card, the vCard! This solution allows you to group all the data concerning the athlete!
The vCard is effectively a passport to your kiteboarding experiences and opportunities, all over the world. To create the vCard, IKO created an app transforming paper cards into virtual cards: vCard.

How does the vCard work?
Step 1
Once you have taken a course and achieved a level with an IKO instructor, he or she will certify your progress and kiteboarding level online.
Step 2
Once certified by your IKO Instructor, you will receive an e-mail with an invitation to activate your IKO certification! During this session you also have the opportunity to customise your profile, evaluate the course you have just taken and receive an exclusive one-off offer for a premium subscription!
Step 3
In order to be able to show your vCard in the future, you will have to download the APP found in Google Play or Apple Store. You can log in to the APP using the same credentials for the website. Click on the vCard to display your new kiter certification with your name, picture and riding level!
