Our kite spots
The most beautiful places to kitesurf
The beautiful scenery of the Stagnone, more precisely between Capo Lilibeo (Marsala) and the Birgi peninsula, is the location of KTS - KiteTourStagnone, a kitesurfing school where you can learn this beautiful sport at all levels, from the first flight to the most advanced tricks.
All this in maximum safety thanks to the flat water due to the presence of islands in front of it, which together form a kind of barrier separating the lagoon from the open sea and low depth (minimum 50 cm - maximum 2 m).
There are other kitesurfing spots nearby, which can be reached in less than an hour's drive, here are the main destinations.
Isola di Santa Maria
St. Mary's Island is in a natural state and there are plants that resist the salinity of the water. One can find saltmarsh limonium, crystal grass, sea lily and sea marigold, a rare occurrence on this stretch of coastline. In this spot, especially in summer when the tramontana wind is strong, the sea lowers further, making it easier to come into contact with the stinging anemones. Be careful not to run your hands over your eyes after a fall!
